Hello All My Fellow Splinterlands Summoners
How are you today? I hope we are all good and healthy today, and let's hope for the goods on people who are not well today.
We are entering the new era of Splinterlands here, Chaos Legion has gone, sent to Wild Format. Everyone has to play with Rebellion set and Conclave Arcana set. It was confusing and exciting at the same time.
Anyway I only bought a regular pack during the presale. Initially I did not want to buy any regarding I did not have proper fund and on that condition (very limited budget) , it was better to buy cards individually.
However Splinterlands is a game, where is the fun if we do not try our luck on Gacha? I had that urge too, and that's how I decided to get one pack.

And look at that, I got a Legendary Unit. It was not my target of purchase, but still a Legendary from GA-CHA would always be welcomed.
honestly I have no idea how to play BellowMancer here, this hippo looks kind of hopeless lol. But I will try to see it possitively, maybe there are new meta that will make things different, turning this Bellowmancer into a formidable tank.
Well I will do the most common thing here, just get a battle and see how it works. Let's Go!!
HIGHLIGHTED BATTLE
This is it, the first battle of my legendary Conclave Arcana card. Of course I win this battle, why would I share a battle that I lost?
At a glance, you might be wondering why everyone in this battlefield have only 1 level. Well, this was exactly a fresh battle after the reset, which Chaos Legion was sent to Wild Format and Conclave Arcana edition got into the selection.
The result was so obvious, everyone got chocked. They confused, me too, seeing most of our selections were gone. No Chaos Legion at all, so we had to put our team based on what we got.
Some people of course already prepared this condition, and I was very lucky my first battle was not against those players.
So this was the battle that everyone came without proper preparation. Let see how this will go
- The battle starts with both side buffing their team and debuffing their opponent. They put a poison on my Thanalorian Blade, which I believed it was a bad move. They should be more aware on my Warborn Chieftain, but this was bound to happen each time we had new edition introduced... people got confused!! LOL
- They come with 3 melee damage, 3 range damage and 2 magic damage. Combined all they become 8 damage per round.
- My team comes with 9 melee damage, 3 range damage and 1 magic damage, combined all it becomes 13 damage per round.
- I could say my line up was a lot better than theirs. It was not because they were bad, but they were unprepared with their sudden Chaos Legion cards gone.
- Round one was a total domination for my team, we swiped out their main tank and their backline tank. It became a 4 vs 6 situation, which I believed their odds to win was gone almost zero.
- It was so sad to see my bellowmancer gone in this round. But what could I do? We had Ferocity ruleset here, so expect all taunt ability units to be killed easily.
- This was the start of Round 3, and this was the last round. They got annihilated this round. Good Game.
To be honest, this was not a great battle. I could not say it was a bad one, but not great for sure. However this battle was very special for me, because it was the first ever battle I put my Conclave Arcana units in.
My tank, Folen Flameye was a Conclave arcana which came from the same pack as BellowMancer. My summoner, Kaylia Silverleaf was a Conclave Arcana too, but she came from a starter pack. I bought a couple of starter packs for fun and I got her.
So that's my battle today, the first ever battle with my Conclave Arcana units and I got the win... although it was a bizarre one because both of us got chocked unprepared to enter our battlefield without our Chaos Legion set.
