I always used to listen to slow music or ballads, very rarely I used to listen to electronic or rock style songs, that's why when I met Cascada I was surprised even I liked her and she definitely broke with that musical style that I never wanted to get out of. This is EuroDance from Germany and honestly it's not the musical style I usually listen to, I'm more into R&B, but she is different, something in her music made me a fan of all her songs and so it was that she formed a big part of my life during adolescence and adulthood together with Celine Dion, two completely different musical styles.

I met her in my time of watching many AMV's of anime scenes, one of them was about Sailor Moon and the background music was a song by Cascada, obviously I didn't even know who she was, but the song caught my attention, which I didn't share here because it doesn't have a music video, the name is Ready for Love and from there I started to look for more songs by Natalie and I really liked almost all the ones I discovered and I became her fan, I went completely out of what I used to listen and from here my musical taste expanded.

Out of all the songs, What Hurt the Most is my favorite, it has a slow version, I like both, but only the electronic version has a music video that I also really like. Ain't no Mountain High Enough is a song that I discovered curiously when putting together this post, I didn't know that she had released her version of this well known song back in 2000, I fell in love with her version at the first second and that makes it clear to me that, although many years have passed since I discovered her music, I still like it.

Every time I talked to someone about Cascada they looked at me with a face like: “do waterfalls make electronic music?” They thought I was talking about the waterfall and I am not surprised because at that time she was not well known, much less where I live, very few people knew of her existence, so I had no one to talk about her, it was just me enjoying her music that I liked more and more with each song I was discovering, it was thanks to Natalie's version of Last Christmas that it became my favorite Christmas song.

I had to forget about getting a CD of Cascada because here she was not known at all, although once I went with my mom to Capital Federal, we went to a Musimundo where I asked an employee if he had a CD of Cascada and I was pleasantly surprised when the guy told me that he knew her and that I was also her fan, I no longer felt so lonely and they had a CD in stock, but unfortunately he did not find it and I left without the CD, but with someone who also listened to her music.

I remember I loved her yellow hair (almost white) with black strands, I wanted to wear her look, but I didn't dare to dye my hair, it's something I swore I would never do because I'm very picky with my hair, even so, I loved her look and I wanted to have it like her. Natalie is very charismatic, always with a huge smile in her presentations and her music is very cheerful and full of energy, I needed to hear someone with a more energizing musical style and she was the one.

I also remember when I anxiously awaited the release of a new song with its respective music video, she never disappointed me and the wait was worth it, so my playlist was growing. The announcements were made through her Facebook account and I counted the days to hear a new Cascada song, then I stopped listening to her so often because my musical taste was always changing over the years, but listening to her music again I realize that I'm still a fan and all her electronic melodies still fill me with energy, amazing all the experiences that music makes you live!

The first song sounded very familiar, as if I had heard it before, but the truth is... I didn't know anything about the artist. It has a great beat, and although I don't usually listen to this type of music, it's very catchy and the videos are brilliant!

Try to imagine yourself as a blonde with black highlights... I don't know... but it's true that you have to be daring!

Yes, she's great and I really liked her hair.

Thank you very much!

😘💗🤗
