Oh that's good, native section of this museum! Super interesting, I'm a fan of landscapes so the paintings of Albert Bierstadt and the other German painter are my favorite, but that one about the Stone City in your home, in Iowa, it's nice, clear and peaceful and as I read it evokes thoughts or memories and sensations to the visitors like you 😉
Good selection! Happy weekend amigo!

There were also a lot of Native American artifacts but a lot of things I've seen and decided not to share because I would still be writing, hehe. Yes, I too like the landscaping paintings, lots of them. What to share next 🤔 still a lot of genre of things.
Stone City painting and its history was interesting. Never been there or heard of it until I saw it. It's on the other side of the state from me. One thing that caught my attention was it has ruins of the old town. Ruins? It was a town established in the 1850's doesnt seem old enough to have ruins. But a lot was torn down after the quarry mines were closed.
Happy weekend to you too Amiga.

Ah I see, well many mines towns were abandoned when that activity finished and later degraded... well, looking forward to seeing more from this museum!
