She bought the mirror for its antique frame, not knowing it reflected the future instead of the present.
As she hung the mirror in her bedroom, she admired the carvings on its antique frame. She couldn't wait to meet with her friends the following day to tell them about her just recently mostly priced item. As she prepared for bed, she gazed into the mirror one more time, admiring herself while adjusting her hair. But a strange thing happened: instead of seeing her reflection, she saw herself together with other people she couldn't recognize standing in a room.
Fear gripped her, and she ran out of her room and picked up her phone to call her friend April, but her line wasn't going through. Different thoughts kept running through her mind; she was trembling in fear but didn't know what to do. After spending a few minutes in the living room, she told herself that probably it was an illusion; she would go back to the room and stare into the mirror again.
She gently walked into the room towards the mirror and looked into it, but this time around she saw herself getting married to the love of her life; then she looked more and saw herself collecting an award of merit; she looked again and saw herself holding a baby, and her face was filled with pure joy.
Immediately she heard a small, still voice in her head telling her the mirror is showing her a glimpse of her future.
Suddenly all her fears disappeared, and she was filled with smiles because of what she kept seeing in the mirror; her future seemed to be beautiful and it gave her a renewed hope. This made her navigate her life cautiously, and with this newfound knowledge, she began to make decisions and choices that aligned with the future she saw in the mirror. She became extremely passionate about pursuing her dreams and purpose.
