Splinterlands: My Second Pit Challenge, Loosing To The Big Leronski 🔥

in Splinterlands2 days ago (edited)

Good morning Summoners! This is @zusi78. Welcome to my blog.I lost this battle, but there is certainly going to be another chance to revenge.

I am always excited whenever I get an invitation to the Pit Challenge. Facing those single boss fighters and defeating them feels like a real achievement and always gives me a great vibe.

As you can see from the screenshot, I got a free spin with Sparks as the reward, and on the second spin I received the Pit Fight Challenge invitation.

In my first invitation, I chose to face the easy boss (Al The Mountain) which I won. So today, I decided to select normal and to face The Big Leronski,I love the name.

One thing I’ve come to realize is that the fighter bosses aren’t the same for every warrior. For example, the Big Leronski that @durlan and @untilwelearn faced are different from mine. Maybe they(#Splinterlands community) have their reasons for doing it this way.
A big shout-out to you, @untilwelearn,@durlan!

DURLAN.

UNTILWELEARN.

Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building.Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥 THE BATTLE.
First, let us take a look this very fighter boss, The Big Leronski, with its stats and abilities. You can clearly see that it has 8 melee attack,9 armor, 59 health and 5 speed with the following abilities:
Void , Cleanse and Stun.

Void.
50% less damage (rounded up) from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power. This makes the boss very hard to burn down with pure magic teams

Cleanse.
Removes all magic debuffs from the allied unit in the first position.Cleansable effects include Stun, Affliction, Poison, Snare, Slow, Enfeeble, Halving, Weaken, Blind, Silence, Rust, Burning, Expose, Impede, etc. (Note: Cripple is not cleansable after older updates.)

Stun.
50% chance to apply Stunned for one round after a successful attack. Stunned units skip their turn and cannot Retaliate.

Impressive I must say.I lost this battle because of my choice of deck. I didn't take my time to study the monster.Well,as they would say, win or lose, there's always something new to learn and that's awesome.

Take a look at the lineup and least I forget, the system allows you to use other cards that are not yours and that is a good gesture.

LINE UPMy team was completely decimated by The Big Leronski. My selection was really poor.I would have opted for the fire deck collection. That would be another time. Please take your time and enjoy the battle replay.

I must say It was a classic “annihilation” matchup—those three abilities stacked on a high-stat melee body are nasty.

Is there any warrior out there that has faced The big Leronski with same abilities, like the one above! @untilwelearn,@zoe01,@durlan @logen9f,@atnazo,what should I have done better? VONAK!!!

Thanks for your post.

I totally forgot about my battle versus late game boss.

My boss, which was the hardest for 1k reward was different than yours. I faced him 2 times. First was lose, second time I won. I need to make post about that, maybe later tonight.

I didn't had time today even to play 1 game in Splinterlands and I saw that few hours ago I had 40 energy xd

I would really appreciate that 🤗

Nice win, my units misssed almost all attacks :D
That was funny to watch this haha :D

Those misses on mindless thrall was the real game changer. About 4 to 5 misses. I was really satisfied because before this battle, I was on six streak defeat and all against max cards carrying opponents.
The poison effect also helped. All good warrior 👏

After this defeat I focused more to win games.
I still trying new things, rented some good cards so I have fun with new toys like a kid :D

Blind ability from Cryptic + slow were just last nails to my coffin xD

This season is gonna be fun for me. I got 150k plus glints,I am just waiting for another 250k glints for completing 250 battles in survival mode.

Yeah it gonna be fun.
I have right now high win ratio and I not even play serious right now, cuz I'm learning new strategies with new cards :D

Interesting 👏

Even with Vanguards on your side, your Leronski enemy is too strong and too difficult.

You can say that again.Void + cleanse + stun abilities were unbelievable.
