Good day everyone and Splinterlands community. One of today's highlights is Analyzing Weapons Training for Magic.
Certain cards, such as Moxian Rebel and Daarg Deadblast, have proven to be quite useful in certain Diamond and Champion League matches due to their ability of Weapons Training for magic, as compared to a melee where non-attacks do 75% of the damage. Because Weapons Training grants non-attacking troops 100% magic attacks, it is probably why magic has been used with it.
The rule sets determine the units you are going to use for every team, and you may further refine your guesses about potential troops by reviewing the opponent's past performance.

These are the cards that I found or experienced in battle Modern League Diamond/Champion level.
Daarg DeadBlast is one of the useful units in Water Element as you can combo it with Baakjira the best tank for Range and Magic units. At max level, this unit is very versatile when it comes to support because of how many abilities it can use in the battle.
Moxian Rebel is a rebellion common card with only a 4 mana cap you can already use Weapons training, as we all know this is a neutral card which means we can also use Deadblast with it, pretty strong lineup.

Weapons Training
Let's do a battle Modern League, I will be using a scholar account from BALTHAZAR in-game name BLTZR-WIZARD-724. Currently, Diamond Modern League will be quite harder than it looks and I will surely do my best to grind more victories.

Analyzing the battle
The enemy uses Obsidian Summoner with Moxian Rebel unit, the best lineup if you want to prioritize to damage the opponent. While I use Kelya Frendul I plan to have the highest speed and high chance of attacking first, best combo with Chaos Agent because it can backfire the opponent if the opponent's attacks are miss. As the battle progress, it seems that my line up works with Chaos Agent. You can see that there's a big difference in speed making my units to attack first. Though Moxian Rebel did what it gives magic to its adjacent, it is still not enough to execute my Chaos Agent, it's a cool lineup opponent utilizing the use of Weapons Training.

Analyzing the battle
The enemy uses Akane Summoner with Daarg Deadblast unit. As you can see from the line up most of the units used are in a support unit making it hard to defeat but it is a bad match-up to my lineup because I use a Deep Lurker unit that easily executed opponent Merdaali Guardian because of low health. The lineup of the opponent did well positioning and utilizing the use of Weapons Training, it's just bad putting too much on support only Daarg Deadblast is enough for that team. It's just weird that the opponent uses Akane summoner maybe this is the only summoner Dragon it has.
