Let's Explore Powerful Neutrals

in Splinterlands2 months ago

Neutral monsters are one special set of monsters. They do not belong to any element, and as a result, they are available for use irrespective of what element your summoner belongs to. I noticed that there are so many incredible monster that are neutral.

From melee, to ranges, to magic attacks, there are several neutral monster that can give anyone an edge in battle. As usual, I am going to be presenting some of them, and perhaps, more persons can start using them in battle.

Mantaroth

This is obviously a vicious monster with incredible stats. It is a melee attack card with power of up to 3. It has 3 armors and a health of 11. Of course, it is obvious that these stats make it perfect for the first position in battle. I has a moderate speed of 2. It has the ability to withstand heavy attacks. This card costs 11 mana.

At level 1, this monster has two abilities. The first ability is the shield ability. This ability reduces the damage it suffers from melee and ranged attacks by half. The second ability is the armored strike ability, which gives it an extra melee attack using it armor stat.

By level 2, it adds the the true strike ability, meaning it cannot miss a target. At level 3, it adds the repair ability, which lets it restore one third of max armor to the allied unit whose armor has taken the most damage. By level 4, it gets the blast ability, which does damage to units adjacent to its target.

Arkemis the Bear

This is another magnificent melee attack monster with attack power of 3. It also has an incredible health of 10. No armor however. It has a speed of 2 which I think is fair enough. This card costs 12 mana.

At level 1, it has the protect ability, letting it add +2 to the armors of all friendly units. By level 4, it gets the halving ability, meaning that when it hits a target for the first time, the targets attack get depleted by half.
At level 7, it adds the forcefield ability, hence it takes only one damage from attacks with a power of 5 or more. By level 10, the enrage ability is added, letting it gain extra 50% melee attack and speed when it is not at full health.

Chaos Battle Mage

This is a massive ranged attack card. Its attack power is also impressive at 3. It is very fast as its speed is 4. It also has one armor and a health of 5. This monster is perfect for causing mayhem for the opponent in battle.

Chaos battle mage has the piercing ability at level one. Hence if the attack damage is more than the targets armor, the remaining will affect the target's health.

By level 2, it adds another amazing ability, the rebirth ability. With this ability, when it dies, it will resurrect itself with one health only once in battle. That is awesome. At level 3, it gets the divine shield ability. So the first time it takes damage in battle, that damage is ignored. Lastly, by level 4, it adds the redemption ability, so when it dies in battle, all enemy units suffer 1 damage.
