Aside from monthly Town Halls and Discord chats, another effective way to learn the ins and outs of Splinterlands is through YouTube content creators. Now, there used to be a lot more channels covering this topic during the peak of the market. It's now trimmed down to fewer people who consistently create Splinterlands content. And for newer players coming into the game or veterans who want to consume more content regarding this project, here are a few more recommendations that I regularly watch.
Splinterlands 101
First we have Splinterlands 101. They have a podcast style content hosted by Bobaphet, Mattclarke, and Giotrix. They're all veterans of the game and know it all too well. I've started listening to them recently and found their channel to be fun and interesting. They start off their episodes with a few small talks about current events and politics. The main part tackles the recent developments in Splinterlands like new releases, issues, community proposals, etc. And it's always nice to hear their personal insights and opinions regarding these matters. I also keep an eye for Mattclarke as he occasionally drop new game strategies he is trying out. They also end their show with game battles. You can check out Splinterlands 101 here.
The Psilence
Another YouTube channel that I've recently watched is The Psilence. Psilence is also a very active Splinterlands player and his channel sort of documents his journey through the game. He often shares his experiences while playing the game which can be very helpful especially for new players. And what I like most about Psilence is he shares his honest thoughts and opinions regarding a topic even if it's unpopular. He is also an experienced Magic: The Gathering player and he sometimes shares positive and negative comparisons between digital and physical card games. Psilence is definitely an interesting fellow and you can check out his channel here.
AfterSound's Trinity Talk
I've mentioned AfterSound before as probably the top Splinterlands content creator for me. I'd also like to add that he has recently been hosting a weekly free tournament. AfterSound, Lorkus, and Tales from the Cryptmancer then host a livestream that talks about the tournament and recent developments within Splinterlands. They also share very interesting insights about the game. And as a bonus, Lorkus provides free weekly delegation of max level cards to the top ranking participants of the tournament, or sometimes even to the livestream viewers as well! It's definitely a livestream worth your attention.
