It's been a while since my last People's Guild entry. This week's topic is all about the undisclosed collector aspect of the upcoming Conclave Arcane set. I think the most likely possibility is that there would be numbered cards similar to how Heloise the Hollow was. But if we're thinking about the ultimate coolness in collectible cards, I'm gonna say what we should get are extremely limited version of select Conclave Arcana cards. And the artists behind the game's artwork are mostly unknown to the players and I think they deserve to be recognized by the community. So here's my idea for the collector concept:
Artist Signed Cards
How amazing would it be to pull an artist signed version of a legendary card? Let's take Avina of the Wolf as an example since she's my favorite from Rebellion. Imagine there's only ten of them that you can possibly get. I think the team went too conservative with the design of the gold cards from Rebellion that it's hard to distinguish from regular cards. They should go all out with these limited cards and bling it out.
Additional Benefits
Aside from the bragging rights of owning a super rare card, these cards could also have additional benefits like:
Increased SPS and Glint bonus when used in ranked battles like 20% instead of the normal 10% gold bonus.
Extra conflict points. When conflicts are once again implemented for the Conclave Arcana set, these signed cards will have a significantly higher conflict points, like say 100 packs worth of points.
Higher burn value. To provide a higher floor price for these cards, I think it should have a higher DEC burn value. I'm thinking 100,000 DEC or more.
Redeemable Artist Signed Physical Artwork
For me, this would be the ultimate feature of these signed cards and that is the ability to redeem them for physical signed artwork delivered to your home. Since they're technically just documents, maybe the company can include the delivery cost and ship it worldwide. That would definitely go to my mancave, if I ever have one.
So that's it for my entry. If you guys have your own take on this challenge by @thepeoplesguild, feel free to submit your own entry. Check out the official post here.
