Today I learnt and also earned a lot of cards in Splinterland by completing my campaign mode chapters. The first battle was where I fought a fire team, as you can see in the screenshot below. I went with my initial cards where my Archon was Aurelia and I also took other cards with me into the battle. We were from Earth category here and we won the battle very soon and it gave me a good start for the day.
After that battle, the rewards were given to us and I think these are the best rewards I have earned so far in Splinterlands. I got a Fire Archon which means now I also have an Archon from the Fire category. Along with that, three cards from the Fire category were also given. So now I can take a Fire Archon and build a team from the Fire category as well. You can see the cards I won in the screenshot below.
The next chapter started and there we learnt something new. The professor explained that speed is a very important characteristic of a card. For example, if my speed is 5 and the opponent attacking me has a speed of 2, then there is around a 30% chance that the attack will miss or cause less damage. That is where speed makes a big difference. Speed also decides which card will make the first move, so it can change the entire flow of a battle.
We took our new cards from fire category into the battle and managed to win without losing a single card. The lineup worked perfectly and gave us an easy victory. You can see the battle lineup in the screenshot below.
The rewards we earned here were amazing. Now we also have an Archon from the Magic category, as you can see in the screenshot below. Along with that, we got three more cards from the Magic category as well. So today we won two Archons, one from the Fire category and the other from the Magic category, along with six cards, three each from Fire and Magic.
That is what I achieved in the game today. I am very happy for learning about speed and for winning these new cards and Archons.
