Today I did my usual routine of collecting my rewards in land plots. Surprising to me was a pull for a totem fragment. I have not ever got one this rare.
With four fragments one can get a legendary totem. This is a lot relative to its value.
The value of a legendary fragment is close to $120 and relative to a full legendary totem seems to be a steal.
One legendary totem could be bought with four fragments for under $650 relative to current markets at $1000. The quantity of these totems in the open market lacks the supply too. Just amazing what I got here.
With that we are likely weeks away from a new setup with Splinterlands.
Survival mode is going to be rolled out and this will get interesting. Duplicate cards maybe needed in order to play in this mode, which makes for many of my duplicate reward cards more likely to be rented.
In addition to play without the energy limitation is going to allow for my activity around the clock. I would how with more activity there would be more demand for cards. I hope this would push rental prices higher.
All in all I am excited to have earned a legendary fragment and now thinking ahead may sell it for the sake of building up my Chaos set. Even if I sold it at the low $120 the return is a decent 110k DEC to spend for more cards.
