It was hard at first in finding the way to trade my Foundation packs into DEC. Here are the steps to do it and why I am selling my packs.
At the top of the game the ribbon tools have "market" and from there "other items". From that menu I can find Foundation packs currently on open market and where I can add my own to the market.
At $0.039 a pack that is about 110 DEC in sales. I have 27 packs and will put them on the market at that rate in hopes of collecting close to 3000 DEC. If this works out I will swap the DEC into my staked amount.
I make sure to sell my packs at the lowest per open market in hopes to make a quick sell and yield enough DEC from all the rank play I have done. In the past it was straight DEC earned per battle won and reward chests one can pull a random amount of DEC.
At the end of the day my goal is to collect DEC as its a core currency in the game. In the past DEC was simply just a currency that had no real way of earning a yield but the has changed since. The currency can now be used in staking for land resource production or trade pools to yield more.
Those are the reasons I want to hold onto DEC now more than the packs. I can not yield any rewards for holding Foundation packs and knowing the supply will continue to grow as daily players win more. On the flip side the DEC held I can use for investing either in other assets or stake for passive income.
