News is out that April is the arrival of next installment of Splinterlands card sets. This will mean Chaos transitions to only be playable in wild mode. This in turn would mean I am forced to play in Wild as I have no cards in the rebellion set.
Looking back the main reason I started to play modern league was that bots were invading wild league. Over the years players have found ways to work around the bot’s limitations and we have seen bots in either leagues and brawls. I do not think there is a massive advantage to play either leagues now.
In terms of spending I have limited myself on what I could earn in Splinterlands to buy assets. I have not spent extra outside of the game to add assets. The point is to spend within my means and no more.
With chaos shifting to wild I fear a lot off legacy cards will no longer be competitive. I remember getting beaten with specific untamed cards so going toward Chaos would be expected to overwhelm older cards.
I think buying a full Chaos set will be best bang for the buck. The deck can stay competitive in wild league.
I do not think building a Rebellion set is ideal for my situation. Bottom line it cost a lot more that that of Chaos and with me. There seems to be as much good news as there are bad news. I prefer to get the most popular cards in legacy decks than to simply moly build a new set. That is just my opinions.
