I have won and trading many cards but currently my higher CP card is a level two gold foil Sola Ranjell. It is worth 50k CP! Unfortunately it can only be used in Brawls and ranked battles where Gladius cards are allowed. Beyond that I can not use it for trade or for land production. So in a way it really is not my most valuable card as I cannot capitalize on it. However maybe in the future the developers will free up Gladius cards for the possibility to buy and sell.
In terms of collection power my most valuable cards would be regular max level Beta dragons in Lightning and Chormatic. These are worth 17,325 CP at max which is far below a gold foil legendary. Still the beta cards can be traded and played both in battles and land production. So reality is my old school Beta / Beta reward cards are my most valuable in terms of CP.
Cards base on my currency spent to purchase above are my most expensive purchases. It is a Kron, but this was prior to Splinterlands able to track prices as I spent a lot more on some of the promo summoners.
Both Waka and Lux I have spent over hundreds to purchase and they remain some of my best rentals. Although I still wish I did not purchase them as their current market value is below my purchase prices.
So concluding I am reviewing what cards I wish to purchase next since I am aiming to strengthen my deck. Now reviewing my top cards I notice my best bang for the dollar is to go with Chaos. Not a bad idea considering I am close to a complete max level regular set.
I will need a little under $250 to complete a Chaos set. Its been years but looking forward to getting at least one complete set. Looking ahead I will begin renting out more cards and maybe even sell some to build up liquidity.
It was nice going back looking at my most expensive cards as it motivates me into trying to collect even more and surpass my current numbers. It is clear if I had not played as much I would not have earned my Gladius gold foil legendary, which turns out as my most valued card in terms of DEC. I imagine if I continue playing one of these days I will earn an even better card.
