This latest season for me was one of the most active. I bought cards, played using all my energy in daily battles, and earn one of my largest amount of Glint in a season.
My ranking is below top 100 in Diamond I for the season. This is Wild group where I seem to rank worse than if it was Modern. However my win to loss ratio is nearly 1 at 213 wins to 216 loses. I consider this pretty much a win.
My rewards are near personal best if not there. I earned over 186k Glint for the season and spend over 150k. I got a decent amount of epics but started adding legendary.
Rental income are now at its low again for me. I have to revise my prices to try to increase yield, but not helping when there are not sufficient cards to rent in the market. It also hurts in bidders who do not have large amount of DEC to rent full season.
My SPS rewards are dropping as it hits below 1k for the season. It appears earning SPS at Wild is a lot less than in modern. In addition its not ideal to see brawls become a lot more challenging now that we have Conclave filling up Freys.
In the end I can not let this slow me down. I am staking more SPS.
In this new season I have went all the way to the opposite side of the spectrum. I am not playing in rank battles and trying to pull in DEC from as much rentals I can. Meanwhile focus on building back up my land production and DEC liquidity.
I was looking at my rewards results and noting 483 SPS + 150k Glint was not sufficient for the initial 2k DEC cost and time to play in Wild. I really went all out with over 420 battles last season and still the ROI was not what I had hope. With rough calcs 10 DEC per SPS I end up with around 2800 DEC and the glint per a season. The lost opportunity is in the Glint which are several legendary.
All but one of the legendary are worth less than $10. Given that the Glint has a lot of value, but not having them is not end all be all. I like to finish up this new season playing passively and review the earnings at the end of season. If the liquidity earning is sufficient I hope to have enough passive income to pay up for the wild pass and continue playing rank battles.
