Splinterlands | These 2 monsters will Neutralise Return Damages

in Splinterlandslast month (edited)

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are spending an amazing day with your family and friends and also playing splinterlands in your daily free time. Well, if you play this game daily like me then you must have noticed that the last ranked season has ended already and if you haven't already, please go and claim your season end Glint rewards. The current season has started already and I guess all of you have started playing for this ongoing season, because the faster we reach our goals, the better it is. Now talking about me, I have slipped playing most of the previous season so for this one, I have decided to play seriously since the beginning and have started playing and pushing my trophies already. Currently I am playing at Gold I with a current trophy count of 2,780. So just 20 more trophies and I will reach into the Diamond League. Now let me keep playing and see how it goes for this season.

Now moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about another 2 reward monsters with you all. In my previous post, I discussed about 2 monsters with Thorns ability and in today’s post, I will be sharing about Reflection Shield monsters. I like this ability because monsters with this ability do not receive any damage from Blast, Thorns, Magic Reflect and Return Fire. So using this ability in the right places can save you from heavy damage. So if you are interested, let us take a deep dive without any further ado.

Meriput Slinger

The first card that I would like to mention here is MERIPUT SLINGER and this is a monster card which got released with the latest Rebellion edition reward card set. This ninja cat looking creature is a master of combat. This monster belongs to the Death element and its attack type is Range. It is a rare type of card, so you will need a total of 115 BCXs of cards to upgrade this monster to the maximum level. This card requires 7 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily fit this card in your lineup while playing medium to large mana limit matches. Now with a good attack power and decent speed, it also comes with a large health and 4 abilities at its max level which I am going to talk about below.

At level 1, this card only possesses 3 range attack at 3 speed with 4 health and it also gets a brand new, freshly launched ability called Impede since its initial level. Now as you start upgrading this card, it gets an increased 4 range attack at level 3, gets the Slow ability at level 4, receives the Reflection Shield ability at level 5 and finally when you upgrade this card to its max level 8, it will get 4 ranged attack at 3 speed with 7 health and will also get a new ability called Redemption at its max level. With the help of the Impede ability, each successful attacks reduce the defender’s speed by 1, on the other hand, the Slow ability will decrease every enemy card’s speed by 1 and the Redemption ability will give 1 damage to each enemy card when this card dies. So, overall it is a great speed agent card that can turn the match with its speed abilities and Reflection Shield.

Night Reaper

The next monster that I would like to talk about here is obviously the NIGHT REAPER and I guess many of you already have at least 1 BCXs of this card in your collection if you have been opening draws and chests. This is a monster card and comes from the latest Rebellion edition Reward card set. This card belongs to the Dragon element and it costs 11 mana to be used in battles, which means it will be a good choice when playing large mana limit matches. Its attack type is Magic and it is an Epic-type card, which means it will require a total of 46 BCXs of cards to be upgraded to max level. Now apart from a good attack power and speed, this monster also possesses a decent combo of armour + health and a bunch of abilities with it, which I am Going to talk about below and will surely be helpful in battles.

Now at level 1, this card only gets 3 magic attack at 4 speed with 9 health and also gets 2 abilities - Flying and Wingbreak since its initial level. So it has been a powerful card since the bronze league. But as you start upgrading this card, it gets armour at level 2, receives the Reflection Shield at level 3, increases its attack to 4 at level 5 and finally when you upgrade this card to its max level, it possesses 4 magic attack at 4 speed with 2 armour and 10 health and it also gets a new ability called Last Stand at its max level. With the help of the Flying ability, it will have more chances to evade attacks from non-flying melee and range cards, while with the new Wingbreak ability, this monster will target the first flying enemy unit regardless of any rulesets or abilities, will do +2 damage if the target is a flying unit. Finally, with the Last Stand ability which will give this monster more stats in aspects when this is the only card in your lineup.

I hope you liked reading my post and also loved those 2 monsters that I talked about above. Let me know which one is more powerful to you in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
