Splinterlands | Claimed May Grain and Added to Merchant Pool

in Splinterlands4 days ago (edited)

Hello Splinterlands lovers!

I hope all of you are enjoying the game, especially after the newest edition of Conclave Arcana cards has now become usable on the battlefield. If you have bought packs in the presale or in the ongoing general sale and opened them to receive your cards, then most probably you are using them in your battle lineups to find which ones are suiting you better, or just keeping an eye on the market for food deals on CA cards. But Splinterlands is pretty big in existence, and away from the Conclave party, there is so much more to explore in this game, like Lands, for example. The Lands expansion has given Splinterlands the best possible way for gamers to interact more deeply with the game while using their spare cards on Land plots to produce resources and start earning more passively while focusing on the game.

Now, like many of you, I am also interested in Lands and own just one Land plot in which I produce Grain. With Lands, especially after the 1.75 update, I have frown interested again and my future plan with Land is to buy 4 more and produce each available resource with at least a land plot. Now, in this post, I will be claiming my Grain and reinvesting it in the Grain-DEC pool while sharing the process and talking about it. So, if you are interested, let’s take a five without any further ado.

I have only one Land plot and it is situated in the Great Lowlands region on the map at the Hamford area with the number #121. It is a common type of Land plot with no Land boost and looking at the Terrain, this Land plot is a Lake Plot, so terrain-wise it is to produce Grain. It is a neutral Land type and on this Land Plot, stacking Earth and Water element cards gives a +10% boost and all other element cards give a -50% penalty. The production rate of my Land plot is 15,400 per hour and I have also fulfilled its total 50k DEC requirement, so its efficiency is static at 100%. Now looking at its Grain production, it is producing 308 Grain resource per hour and not to mention, I have 5 good cards staked in it, but without any Runi, title or totem.

Now, if you run a Land plot or know about the basics, you know that harvesting a 100% work site capacity requires a solid 7 days, but you can claim a harvest before time and get your resources without any penalty. So, when I went to check the Worksite capacity of my land today, I found out that it is sitting at 87%. Thus, to evade the situation of making my Land go idle if it crosses 100%, I decided to claim the production batch and selected the Harvest button.

After claiming the Grain by selecting the Harvest button, it redirected me to the Resource Claim page, where I could see the fees and costs to claim my grain successfully. There are mainly 2 fees that get applied while you initiate a claim, the first one is the grain cost to feed the workers and the second one is the Grain Tax. Now in my case, my worksite maximum capacity is 51,74; Grain, but I have initiated a claim when it is at 87% capacity. Hence, for this claim, I will be charged with 20,392.234 Grain to feed the workers and another 4,486.291 Grain as tax to claim my harvested batch, not to mention that without paying these 2 charges, you can not claim your resource. Now my advantage here is that as I am running a Grain resource land plot, it is actually self-sufficient, which means it produces and pays with its own grain and collects the rest. So with my Land plot, I can continue harvesting and producing Grain without any hazard.

Anyway, after I clicked the claim Button, it then redirected me to the result page, where I could see the outcome of my Grain production claim. As shown in the screenshot that I shared above, with this claim, I have got a total of 44,864.82 grains. The total grain cost applied for harvesting the batch was 20,393.1 and also, and a total of 4,486.482 grain was paid in taxes. So after cutting these 2 fees from my harvested amount, at last, I got a total of 19,985 grains in my regional grain balance stored in my wallet.

Now, after completing the claim of my Land plot resource, I went to check my total balance and found that I have saved a total of 201,187.862 grains in my wallet. Seeing a balance over 200k Grain, I become happy seeing that even after running only 1 Grain land, I have grown my Grain balance well over time. Anyway, I am using all my produce in the pool to generate some more, instead of leaving my Grain sitting idle and doing nothing. So, I decided to add this 200k grain with the required amount to lock in the pool and increase my stake even more.

As thought, I came to the trade hub page in the land and went for my market option there. As you can see from the screenshot above, the output showed me all the information about the grain-dec pool, including my total contribution and fees generated so far, etc. The overall Grain-DEC pool is worth 61.3k USD and my total contribution is worth 6.17$ USD only, which includes 346k Grain and 3147 DEC. So far, I have earned 0.11$ worth of coins from the pool, including 7014.199 Grain and 46.063 DEC.

Anyway, after taking a look at my holdings, I clicked on the Manage button and got redirected to the Manage Contribution page. There, I simply selected the Add option and then selected the maximum amount of Grain, which showed me that I would require around 1827 DEC for my grain and gladly, I had enough DEC in my wallet. So, I provided both the coins and added them together in the pool. Quickly after adding both the coins, I also got notified with a message as shared above, showing my added amounts in the pool pair.

After adding another big batch of around 200k Grain with the required DEC, my Stake in the pool has now increased by a good margin. Right now, I am having a total of 547,706 Grain paired with 4,975.642 DEC and together, they are worth 9.69$. Now I will be earning a bit more more the fees and over a long time, I have decided to pour all my Grain earnings into the pool and build a big balance. The first step of this milestone would be reaching 1 million grains and gladly, I have already reached halfway. Let’s see how many more days it takes for me to reach my first milestone now.
