I’m really happy because the team behind this game called @splinterlands has finally brought an event worthy of this season the Halloween event! It’s perfect for every type of player, from those who just started their account to the veterans who have been part of this project for years.
In this post, we’ll explore some new mechanics, analysis, and other curiosities you may have missed or haven’t discovered yet. So grab your coffee and let’s begin:
🎃STATISTICS SECTION
I’ve loved that now we can see how many battles we’ve fought in any game mode, as well as how many we’ve won and lost.
It’s also divided into easy-to-access menus such as Season (active events and your stats), Rewards, Battle History, and Active/Pending Updates.
I really like this feature because it gives players access to important news without having to constantly visit the blog to find out about new or upcoming changes in the game (although, of course, you can still visit the blog for more in-depth details).
🎃SPECIAL EVENT
I wrote WINNER in all caps because it truly deserves it during this time of year, the Blood Moon event is active. When it’s active, it grants Bloodlust (a skill that base Gladius cards have).
You’ll know it’s triggered in your battle when you hear a wolf howling sound along with the event icon, so take advantage and adjust your strategy when that condition appears.
The event started recently and will run until early November, so there’s still time!
Here’s a battle featuring that special rule:
🎃VISUAL SECTION
We can’t forget the visuals there’s now a Halloween themed interface with a dark castle background. And finally, we have a new battle background, which I absolutely love!
Now, the cherry on top: the skins, which can be purchased in the Glint shop using the game’s internal token.
Let’s talk more about the skins:
🎃SKINS
For this event, there are a total of 13 skins available for purchase. They come in common, rare, epic, and legendary varieties, and their prices vary depending on their rarity and Glint cost.
These cosmetics are permanent, unlike in previous years when cards or skins were only available during October I really like this change. Plus, you can now view these new artworks in their full glory within the Lore section.
Skins are also tradeable, so in the future, you could sell them to players who missed the event or didn’t know about Splinterlands at the time.
Personally, I like the epic ones the most, and that’s my main goal though I hope I can find the time to collect them all!

As for whether they grant a special bonus when used in battle let me tell you, they don’t.
I truly think this is the best seasonal event so far because it feels like one. Many people are playing Frontier to earn cards, while others are playing Modern to earn Glint and get these skins. It’s a great approach because it motivates players to stay active and enjoy their time on the platform.

Ando muy contento ya que el equipo detrás de este juego llamado @splinterlands por fin trae un evento digno de esta fecha y es este evento de Halloween el cual es apto para cualquier jugador, desde el que apenas empezo con su cuenta hasta el que lleva años en este proyecto.
En este post encontraremos algunas nuevas mecánicas, análisis y otras curiosidades que quizás has pasado por alto o aun no descubres. Así que ve por tu cafecito y empecemos:
PARTE ESTADÍSTICA
Me ha encantado que ahora podemos ver cuantas peleas hemos realizado en cualquier modo de juego y ademas podemos saber cuantas hemos ganado y cuantas hemos perdido.
Ademas esto esta dividido por unos menus de facil acceso como es la season ( eventos activos y tus datos ), las recompensas, tu historial de batallas y las actualizaciones activas y pendientes. Esto me ha gustado ya que le da acceso al jugador sobre noticias importantes y no tener que estar llendo al blog para saber cuales son los cambios nuevos y futuros sobre el juego ( bueno si tiene que ir al blog si quiere profundizar en el tema ).
EVENTO ESPECIAL
GANADOR lo puse en mayúscula ya que esto es un plus; por esta época esta activo el evento de Blood Moon el cual cuando esta activo les dará a sus Bloodlust ( una habilidad que tienen las cartas Gladius de base ).
Sabras que aparecera en tu batalla ya que aparecerá un sonido de un lobo ahuyando junto con el icono del evento, asi que aprovecha para cambiar tu estrategia cuando aparezca dicha condición.
El evento hace poco empezó y durara hasta principios de noviembre, así que aun tienes tiempo.
Aquí una batalla con dicha regla especial:
PARTE VISUAL
No podemos dejar la parte visual ya que tenemos una interfaz alusiva a esta época con un fondo de un castillo oscuro. Ademas por fin tenemos un fondo de batalla diferente el cual me ha encantado.
Bueno ya llegando al cereza del pastel que son la skins las cuales podemos comprar en la tienda de glint con este token interno del juego.
Aquí hablaremos mas a fondo de las skins:
SKINS
Bueno para evento tenemos un total de 13 skins para comprar, entre ellas hay comunes, raras, épicas y legendarias que varia según su precio de Glint.
Dichos cosméticos se quedan para siempre y no es como en anteriores pasadas que salían las cartas solo por el mes de Octubre ( skins solo por un mes ) y es algo que me ha gustado, ademas que tambien en la seccion del lore podemos ver estas artes nuevas en su total esplendor.
Las skins también se pueden comerciar, así que a futuro las podrías vender para esos usuarios que no alcanzaron a hacer el evento o no conocían de splinterlands.
A mi en lo personal me han gustado más las épicas y creo que ese sera mi objetivo principal, aunque ojala me de el tiempo para coleccionarlas todas.

En cuanto si tienen un bono especial por usarlas en batalla, déjame decirte que no.
Creo que este es por el momento el mejor evento especial de época ya que se siente como tal. Muchas personas están jugando Frontier para conseguir cartas y otros están jugando Moderno para conseguir Glint y adquirir dichas skins; es un buen camino ya que motiva al usuario a jugar y estar un buen rato en la plataforma de juego.
