Today I want to bring you something different from what I usually do. I know that sharing card analysis is fun for you and you learn a lot about them. I also really like it, especially since I'm segmenting it by "Bloodline," which is currently focused on "Human." However, this is not all that new players need to succeed in the game. There are many tools they should know about, and one of the most important has to do with the markets in the game, especially projects created by third parties outside the official Splinterlands team.
That's why, on this occasion, I'm going to focus on explaining how one of these markets called "Elmo-Burns" works, what its advantages are over the official market, what it offers, and why it's fun and graphically appealing to use, not to mention that we can earn rewards while using it. So, this is definitely something that new players should know about and that not many explain in detail, when it should be one of the main priorities for content creators to explain. As I am one of them, I will take on the task of explaining it.

By now, everyone must be familiar with a very famous character called "Elmo." In fact, this platform was created with the intention of referencing the viral meme called "Elmo on Fire or Hellmo," although all of this was part of a strategy to attract everyone's attention while generating interest among internet users, since, upon entering, they would quickly become familiar with it and wonder what this game is about, a very interesting marketing strategy.

Place bids: Another great feature is that you can place bids on the cards you want according to the criteria that best suit you, specifying the maximum price per BCX you are willing to pay along with the exact and total amount of BCX you want. This means that you can buy at a price that benefits you and then sell these cards at a higher price.
With all this, you have a very complete platform where you can get all the assets and items you want from the game. It is very similar to others, but with notable differences that help the entire ecosystem and economy of Splinterlands in general. Benefits of using Elmo-Burns
This is where it gets interesting, because although it is a marketplace like any other, the big difference that sets it apart from other Splinterlands-related marketplaces is that it has its own tiered reward system. This means that the more you buy and/or sell, basically use it, the more likely you are to earn a higher percentage of the reward pool that the platform itself has to reward user activity.
The idea is to generate as much volume as possible to move up the leaderboard, so you will always be earning rewards for using the platform. But to help you understand it better, I will explain the details you need to know to earn those rewards and, most importantly, where they come from:
Elmo-Burns reward system
Elmo, as a platform, charges a market fee of 4%, which is distributed as follows:
2.6% is used to offer cashback to traders who frequently use the platform.
0.3% is used to purchase SPS and send them to a burn cycle to decrease the circulating supply of SPS.
0.1% is used for the "Monthly Reward Fund" that is distributed to those who generate the most volume on the platform. The more volume you generate, the faster you will move up the table, where only the "Top 10" will receive rewards, which will be distributed as follows: 30%, 20%, 15%, 10%, 6%, 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%, and 1%.
0.06% is used to support "Aqualis"
0.06% is used to support the PNS project
0.68% is used for operational costs and server maintenance.
Nota: The Elmo-Burns platform has an SPS burning system that helps reduce the supply of SPS, making it scarcer and therefore more valuable over time, which could attract significant demand for the governance token and the fundamental pillar of the entire Splinterlands ecosystem. In fact, nearly 1 million SPS have been burned with the Flywheel, contributing to the scarcity of SPS.

Es por eso que, en esta oportunidad me enfocare en explicarles como funciona uno de estos mercados llamado “Elmo-Burns”, cuales son sus ventajas con respecto al mercado oficial, que ofrece y porque es divertido y grafíticamente usarlo, sin mencionar que podemos ganar recompensas mientras lo usamos, así que, definitivamente esto es algo que los nuevos jugadores deberían de conocer y que no muchos explican en detalle, cuando esto debería de estar dentro de uno de las principales prioridades a explicar por los creadores de contenido y como soy una de ellas, me tomare la tarea de explicarlo.

Parcelas de tierra: También puedes comprar y/o vender parcelas de tierra, teniendo un filtro increíble con el que puedes conseguir la tierra con las características que desees, bien sea que la necesites mágica y/u ocupada, necesites enfocarte en un recurso especifico en la agricultura, o más bien el SPS, aquí lo puedes encontrar muy fácilmente, la verdad muy intuitiva y fácil de usar.
Comprar otros Items: Aquí puedes comprar otro tipo de activos del juego, bien sea títulos, tótems, packs, posiciones y avatares. Puedes conseguir lo que quieras, por supuesto relacionado con el juego, tienen todos los activos, basta con que ingreses, busques lo que quieras, observes la lista, decidas que cantidad comprar y listo.
Realizar Bids: Otra característica genial es que puedes hacer “Bids” por las cartas que desees de acuerdo con los criterios que mejor se adecuen a ti, especificando el precio máximo por BCX que estes dispuesto a pagar junto con la cantidad exacta y total de BCX que quieras, esto quiere decir que, puedes comprar a un precio que te beneficie y luego vender estas cartas más caras.

Beneficios de utilizar “Elmo-Burns”
Aquí es donde se pone interesante, puesto que; a pesar de ser un mercado como cualquier otro, la gran diferencia que los resalta de otros “Marketplace” relacionados con Splinterlands, es que este posee su propio sistema de recompensas escalonado, esto quiere decir que, mientras más compres y/ o vendas, básicamente usarla, tendrás la posibilidad de ganar un mayor porcentaje del “Pool” de recompensas que la misma plataforma posee para recompensar la actividad de los usuarios.
La idea es hacer el mayor volumen posible para lograr ascender en la tabla de clasificación, con esto siempre estarás ganando recompensas por usar la plataforma, pero, para que lo entiendan mucho mejor, a continuación, explicare los detalles que necesitan saber parea ganar dichas recompensas y lo más importante de dónde vienen:
