When this card came out, I didn't have the budget to rent it for the entire season, but I did have the opportunity to play it in Modern Bronze II, and wow, all it took was combining that legendary card with Avina of the Wolf and applying the heal ability to it to turn it into an unstoppable force. That convinced me that this card is truly exceptional, even at level 1. Cheers.
