The prairies can seem quite vast, maybe empty to some people. I look out on them in awe anytime I am out here. I once had a friend who was really knowledgeable about the technical aspects of photography, but when he saw me taking pictures of an empty road of vast fields, he would say he didn't see anything visually appealing out here. What I see is something very picturesque; the lines, the landscapes, the colors, the sky all contribute to making scenes that I find quite appealing.
