Komodo Dragons are the world's largest lizards and if you have ever seen them you will notice they typically move quite slowly. They will wait hours upon hours to ambush their prey. Their sharp serrated teeth and the venom they secrete when they bite will gradually kill their prey over several days. These lizards play the long game and their long forked tongues help them to taste and analyze the air to detect the presence of prey.
