Muy buenas noches, querido hiver, hoy me complace anunciarte que pronto estaré realizando mi presentación de Seminario en la universidad.
Ayer, cuando iba camino al trabajo, miraba al cielo pensando en lo increíble que era esto, al igual que en lo rápido que pasa el tiempo.
Siento que apenas ayer iba con un sombrero camino a la universidad para inscribirme por primera vez.
Fui con mi mejor look en ese entonces, porque en medio del caos era la mejor noticia que había podido recibir. Debido a que el profesor me había llamado porque ya estaban disponibles las inscripciones.
Y esto es algo que muy pocos lo saben, pero, mi padre había recién fallecido cuando entre a la universidad para comenzar la Licenciatura.
Por lo que la universidad fue durante los primeros semestres mi universo paralelo que usaba para evitar pensar en ello.
Años después, he trabajado con el dolor, y aunque aún sigue allí, en estos momentos es llevadero.
También he estado estudiando arduamente, haciendo todo para que mis notas fuesen buenas. Y al mismo tiempo preocupándome y ocupándome por aprender más. Lo cual, ha sido útil en mi carrera profesional.
Así que pienso eso, en cómo todo en esta vida se entrelaza, en los ciclos, en cómo todo continúa, y tú vas con ello.
Agradezco a Dios por haber tenido a mi padre, por la oportunidad de continuar mi carrera, por la sabiduría, por la paciencia. Por todo.
Este camino no ha sido fácil, sobre todo porque el que estudia en Venezuela es un guerrero. Es alguien que lucha contra la corriente, que cree en el cambio, que apuesta al éxito.
Que lo hace contra todo pronóstico. Por lo que sí, me siento orgullosa de este logro que cada vez está más cerca. Y te invito a sentirte también orgulloso/a de cada logro en tu vida, porque es increíblemente valioso.
Good evening, dear winter, today I'm pleased to announce that I'll soon be giving my seminar presentation at the university.
Yesterday, on my way to work, I looked up at the sky thinking how incredible this was, as well as how fast time flies.
I feel like just yesterday I was wearing a hat on my way to the university to register for the first time.
I went dressed up in my best clothes back then, because amidst the chaos, it was the best news I could have received. Because the professor had called me because registration was now open.
And this is something very few people know, but my father had just passed away when I entered the university to begin my bachelor's degree.
So, for the first few semesters, university was my parallel universe that I used to avoid thinking about it.
Years later, I've worked through the pain, and although it's still there, it's bearable right now.
I've also been studying hard, doing everything I can to get my grades right. And at the same time, worrying and taking the time to learn more. Which has been helpful in my professional career.
So I think about that, about how everything in this life is intertwined, about the cycles, about how everything continues, and you go with it.
I thank God for having my father, for the opportunity to continue my career, for the wisdom, for the patience. For everything.
This path hasn't been easy, especially because anyone who studies in Venezuela is a warrior. Someone who fights against the current, who believes in change, who bets on success.
Who does it against all odds. So yes, I am proud of this achievement, which is getting closer every day. And I invite you to also feel proud of every achievement in your life, because it is incredibly valuable.
