This suddenly makes so much sense as to why we naturally gravitate towards trying to be right, but are not always very good at working on our happiness. The first gets is trying to control what we can't and leaves us frustrated, yet happiness is something more within our control and we try to blame it on things outside of our control.

Exactly that is the point, happiness depends on us not on others.
Sometimes we say I got up perfect, I have health, my family is fine, I have money, I'm happy.Then someone arrives and offends us and we give him the power to take away that happiness.JJJ
