Saludos amigos de la comunidad de @holos-lotus, con la invitación de nuestra estimada @Charjaim, en relación a Iniciativa 30 - Esa Vida Nuestra, ¿Cuál fue el regalo más grande que te dieron tus padres? Sabemos que nos entregaron la vida, que es lo que más valoramos, pero además de ello, tenemos con nosotros una serie de dones, aptitudes, enseñanzas que llamaremos regalos y que vienen de alguno de ellos o de los dos. A continuación mi participación:

En mi caso, mis padres siempre me inculcaron amor, protección, ellos fueron mi pilar, mis guías, creo que Dios me dio un regalo muy lindo y estoy agradecida al igual que mis hermanos, por haber sido fruto de esa unión.

Mi madre

Mi madre, hace ya casi veinte 20 meses que ella partió al encuentro con Dios, creo que también a reunirse con mi padre, quien se fue mucho antes de éste plano terrenal, esos bonitos recuerdos junto a ella, con el poder infinito, nada más por el hecho de darnos la vida, a mí y a mis hermanos.

El agradecimiento que tengo con mi madre, porque tuve la bendición de tenerla conmigo, gracias a ella me convertí en la persona que soy, me enseñó a amar a mi hija con la fuerza con que lo hago, con el amor que ella me entregaba, sin medidas, por cansada que estuviera, siempre estaba para darme su apoyo, su palabra de aliento, es el regalo que Dios me dio.

Ella fue mi motor en tantas cosas, pudo ver mi tristeza solo con mirarme y me llenaba solo con un abrazo, ella sabía darme un consejo y acertar en sus palabras, como toda una sabia. Puedo continuar el legado de mí madre, fue el ejemplo vivo dela mujer de acero que muchas veces tenemos y debemos ser para transmitir el amor, el valor, el entusiasmo y la fe.

Mi padre

Recordar a mi padre, es pensar en aquel hombre que se preocupa en todo el sentido de la palabra, así como lo fue mi padre, un gran guerrero porque nunca nos dejó de proveer de todo lo necesario para ser quien ahora somos, siempre con buen humor y sacaba chistes y tenía la facilidad de ser un gran imitador con sus ocurrencias para hacernos sacar una sonrisa, a mi padre le encantaba cantar y tocar el cuatro,hoy está en el cielo y lo recuerdo con todo mi corazón, porque fue un gran padre.

Nos decía a mí y a mis hermanas que nunca debíamos de permitir que nos tocaran ni con el pétalo de una rosa, la seguridad que tenemos en nosotras, viene a partir de ahí, de las palabras y el trato que obtuve de mi papá, pero sobre todo el respeto que me puedo tener a mí misma. Dios te tenga en el reino de los cielos padre mío.

Su mejor y eterna herencia

Ellos han sido los primeros seres que me han amado, agradecida por darme la vida, por la crianza, las enseñanzas, la educación, los valores y en la persona que soy hoy en día. Ambos nacidos en el campo, en los Andes de Venezuela.

Su mejor y eterna herencia fue ese amor incondicional hacia sus hijos, que no se termina nunca, así como la preocupación de darnos los estudios, por todos los medios posibles para que pudiéramos tener una carrera, una profesión y sé también que gracias a ellos, soy lo que soy y quien soy.

Por ejemplo de niña recuerdo que ambos se inscribieron para estudiar su bachillerato con la modalidad de escuchar todas la tardes clases por radio, recuerdo el nombre era "Fe y Alegría", una emisora que impartía clases auspiciadas por los colegios de la AVEC (Asociación Venezolana de Católicos), ambos, tanto papá y mamá iban los sábados a recibir clases presencial, donde llevaban las guías de las clases anteriores que escuchaban en la radio los días de semana, para ser corregidas y retiraban las nuevas.

Aunque no necesitaban conocimientos académicos para lanzarse por sus sueños, con su ejemplo de amor a los estudios, en esa época ellos lograron sacar el bachillerato mediante esa modalidad, aunque sus 4 hijos aun éramos unos niños, fueron de gran inspiración para mí y mis hermanos.

Hoy les pido que me manden su Bendición, agradecida por ser fruto de ese amor de pareja, y estoy segura que son esa luz que nos cuidan desde arriba.

My mother

The gratitude I have with my mother, because I was blessed to have her with me, thanks to her I became the person I am, she taught me to love my daughter with the strength that I do, with the love that she gave me, without measure, no matter how tired I was, she was always there to give me her support, her word of encouragement, it is the gift that God gave me.

She was my driving force in so many things, she could see my sadness just by looking at me and she could fill me up with a hug, she knew how to give me advice and she knew how to get her words right, like a sage. I can continue my mother's legacy, she was the living example of the woman of steel that we often have and must be to transmit love, courage, enthusiasm and faith.

My father

To remember my father, is to think of that man who cares in every sense of the word, just as my father was, a great warrior because he never failed to provide us with everything we needed to be who we are now, always with good humour and he had the facility to be a great imitator with his witticisms to make us smile, my father loved to sing and play the cuatro, today he is in heaven and I remember him with all my heart, because he was a great father.

He used to tell me and my sisters that we should never allow anyone to touch us, not even with the petal of a rose. The confidence we have in ourselves comes from that, from the words and the treatment I received from my father, but above all the respect I can have for myself. God keep you in the kingdom of heaven my father.

Their best and eternal inheritance

They have been the first beings who have loved me, grateful for giving me life, for the upbringing, the teachings, the education, the values and the person I am today. Both born in the countryside, in the Andes of Venezuela.
