The date of the culmination of initiative # 30 of that life of ours is approaching and this time it brings us a very nice theme to remember those details that our parents have given us or inherited from us. In honor of them I will tell you what my parents did for this woman who is now 41 years old, gifts that I am grateful for and that have nothing to do with anything material.

Se acerca la fecha de culminación de la iniciativa # 30 de esa vida nuestra que en esta ocasión nos trae un tema muy bonito para recordar esos detalles que nos han regalado o heredado nuestros padres. En honor a ellos les contaré lo que mis padres hicieron por esta mujer que ahora tiene 41 años, regalos que agradezco y que no tienen nada que ver con algo material.
My parents do not have a university degree, my mother is a high school graduate and my father only studied until the third year of high school, but that was not an impediment to have everything he has achieved in his life, nor a reason to want his daughters not to be university professionals, but on the contrary they were always supporting us and encouraging us that we had to do much more, my dad always told us “Mommy studied, because if someday you get a man and it doesn’t help you, you can get ahead on your own” and my mother told us “study because that is the only thing that no one can take away from you” these are words that have never been erased from my mind and that I repeat to my children and that is a gift that I would like to leave to them too, because when a person prepares professionally it is not for another person, in this case her parents, but for herself, even if she has done it driven by her parents.
Mis padres no tienen una carrera universitaria, mi madre es bachiller y mi padre solo cursó hasta el tercer año de bachillerato, pero eso no fue impedimento para tener todo lo que ha logrado en su vida, ni tampoco un motivo para querer que sus hijas no fueran unas profesionales universitarias, sino que todo lo contrario siempre estuvieron apoyándonos y estimulando a que teníamos que hacer mucho más, mi papá siempre nos decía “mamita estudié, porque si algún día se consigue un hombre y no le sirve, usted pueda salir adelante sola” y mi mamá nos decía “estudien que eso es lo único que nadie les puede quitar” son palabras que nunca se han borrado de mi mente y que les repito a mis hijos y ese es un regalo que me gustaría dejarles a ellos también, porque cuando una persona se prepara profesionalmente no lo hace para otra persona en este caso sus padres sino para ella misma, así lo haya hecho impulsado por los padres.
Another invaluable gift is independence, my parents filled me with advice, but also gave me the opportunity to apply it in life, so that RESPONSIBILITY and CONFIDENCE became a pillar during my growth, because the benefits were obtained according to the responsibility demonstrated, so they gave me the freedom and confidence to do certain things but always bearing in mind the consequences of my actions. An example of this point is that at the age of 16 I was already living in a city two hours away from my home because I was studying at the university, I was not independent at a monetary level because my parents were the ones who paid all the expenses but I was aware that they were giving me the confidence to act responsibly. So for me, being taught to be independent and being given the freedom to act responsibly has been the greatest gift my parents have given me.
Otro regalo invaluable es la independencia, mis padres me llenaron de consejos, pero también me dieron la oportunidad de aplicarlos en la vida, de manera que la RESPONSABILIDAD y la CONFIANZA se convirtieron en un pilar durante mi crecimiento, porque lo beneficios se obtenían de acuerdo a la responsabilidad demostrada, así que me daban la libertad y la confianza de hacer ciertas cosas pero siempre teniendo presente las consecuencias de mis actos. Un ejemplo de este punto es que a los 16 años ya vivía en una ciudad a dos horas de mi casa porque estaba estudiando en la universidad, no era independiente a nivel monetario porque mis padres eran los que costeaban todos los gastos pero estaba consciente de que me estaban dando la confianza para que actuará responsablemente. Así que para mí, el que me hayan enseñado a ser independiente y darme la libertad de desenvolverme de manera responsable ha sido el regalo más grandes que mis padres me han entregado.
And like this of course there are also many other things that could be said, like the mole I have on my face that my mom has inherited me and that all the women in her family have, 20 years ago it looked very pretty but now it has grown and I understand why many of her have had it removed 🤣. Like also that from both my parents I look a lot like my mom, but my dad is happy that my knees are skinny like his and not fat like my mom’s 🤣 so my knees are my dad’s inheritance 🤣🤣🤣.
As well as this would be many other things that our parents inherit us through their teachings, I wanted to make a small summary of what has served me for life and something more fun so that everything was not seriousness, I hope you liked it.
Y como esto, también existen muchas otras cosas que se podría decir, como el lunar que tengo en mi cara que me ha heredado mi mamá y que tienen todas las mujeres de su familia, hace 20 años se veía muy bonito pero ahora ha crecido y entiendo porque muchas de ella se lo han mandado a quitar 🤣. Como también que de mis dos padres me parezco mucho a mi mamá, pero mi papá es feliz de que mis rodillas sean flacas como las de él y no gordas como las de mi mamá 🤣 así que mis rodillas son herencia de mi papá 🤣🤣.
Así como esto serían muchas otras cosas lo que nuestros padres nos heredan a través de sus enseñanzas, yo quise hacerles un pequeño resumen de lo que me ha servido para la vida y algo más divertido para que todo no fuera seriedad, espero les haya gustado.
