What is Stake House Den ?

Let's start with the introduction of the game. Since this is kinda new game, and not yet fully released for the play to earn mechanism, some of you might not aware.
Stake House Den is a web3 casino games from Invennium Corp and launched on the Arcade Colony platform. FYI, Invennium corp is a subsidiary of Splinterlands, so we can expect a long sustain game here !

The game will have 9 games, but at the moment, there is still 3 games we can play here : Blackjack, Roulette, and Slots.

Hot Sauce is Needed to Play

Okay, so in Splinterlands we need energy to battle, and on moonkarts we need fuel to race and earn, on Stake House Den, we will need a hot sauce in order to start playing (and earning soon). We can get the hotsauce by staking a cards + 2 script for each of them.

FYI, the staking cards for generating the hot sauce is already run since July 3rd, and I think it's a great development because as far as I read on the discord, this is the latest important part before the play to earn system can run !

Just like fuel on Moonkarts, beside use the hotsauce for playing and earn, we can also use this as an opportunity to have a passive income, because it's likely that hotsauce will transefable just like the fuel on moonkarts, and when people need them, we can serve it to them ! I enjoy generating the fuel on moonkarts, and I'm interested to do so on this game with the hot sauce !

How to Generate Our Own Fuel

So how to generate those hot sauce ? Here is the tutorial that I try to demonstrate :

First, visit the site on https://stakehouseden.arcadecolony.com/play and go to the menu at the top right of the screen.

Now chose the refrigerator at the middle of the screen

Now select the stake button at the bottom left of the screen, then select any cards you want to stake. As example, I will pick the Queen.

Now you can see any copy of the cards you got, since I only have 1 of that queen, there is only 1 cards appeared. Click on the cards you want to stake.

Then there will comes the stake button after you chose the cards. Please make sure you have enough script before staking (you need 2 script for each 1 cards you want to stake). The script is shown by the white arrow at the screenshot.

And it's done ! Now you can see my hot sauce generation is improved by 2 points from 12 into 14.

How to Claim the Hot Sauce ?

It's actually pretty obvious because the dev put the button on the left of the screen. You can claim anytime I guess, but here is the new mechanism that is introduced on the Hot Sauce that make it different with Moonkart.

On moonkart, we can save as much fuel as we want, but on Stake House Deen, there is refrigerator system that limit our storage capacity. We can upgrade them by burning the script as explanation on https://splinterlands.gitbook.io/stakehouse-den-whitepaper/hot-sauce/refrigerator

Since my refrigerator is the free one, I can only save up to 50 hot sauce. My claimable hot sauce is 59, that's why I got the notification about losing the extra hot sauce if I'm gonna claim it.

What's Next ?

Well, I will stake more cards, and my refrigerator is surely can't handle that, so I guess I will need to upgrade my refrigerator and make a tutorial about it as well. I think good preparation is key for playing the play to earn games. Early start might give us extra rewards, that's why I am keen to prepare better.
