Daily battles, card collection, upgrades, and strategy creation—all in all, it is not just a game, it is a strategic war experience. And just as small victories on the path of this war bring joy, the moments of leveling up or tier advancement really motivate the player greatly.
Just such a special moment of joy came to my life when, after many days of effort, practice, and continuous battles, I was finally able to unlock the Modern Silver II tier. When the words “UNLOCKED” appeared in large letters on the screen, it really felt like it removed a curtain of wonder and opened a new horizon. When the valuable rewards were given to me, that joy increased many times over.
In today's blog, I will detail that experience, the rewards I received, and their importance—all in simple language.
🔹 Long-term effort—finally facing success
If you play Splinterlands regularly, you know that reaching each tier is not an easy task. Card power, team building, battle rules, monster selection—you have to think about everything. Sometimes win battle sometimes you lose. But every match new learning opportunity.
The Modern Silver II tier was my goal for a long time. But because opposition players were so strong, I could not move up sometimes. Still, I did not give up. I understood power my cards, learned when use which Summoner, learned predict enemy team. Gradually, my strategy improved, and as a result, I was finally able upgrade tier.
When the screen showed—

It really felt like my hard work had paid off.
🔹 Valuable gifts received with level up
Splinterlands gives valuable rewards to players every time they level up. And the rewards I received this time are very useful—it goes without saying.
✔ Merits – quite a lot!
Merits are mainly used to open Gladius Packs from the Guild Shop. Gladius cards cannot be used in normal battles, but they are incredibly powerful in Brawl.
This time I received—

These have become a large collection, which gives you the opportunity to open Gladius packs in the upcoming Brawl and get great cards.
✔ Legendary Potion Charge – Increases the chance of getting rare cards
There were two Legendary Potion Charges in the reward list.
These increase chance getting Legendary rarity cards when opening card packs.
In Splinterlands Legendary cards mean very powerful expensive cards which increase your chances winning battles.
✔ Common Scroll – Important in game progression
I got a few Common Scrolls as part of the rewards.
Scrolls basically increase the scope of special actions in the game and they give additional benefits in certain cases. They are small but effective rewards.
✔ Husk of the Hunter – A great card!
The most exciting part was when I got a rare card—
HUSK OF THE HUNTER (Undead)
This is a powerful card with a 9-mana cost, which has—
3 Attack
1 Speed
5 Health
and a special ability
This card will work very well in high mana battles. Especially in long battles, it can put pressure on the opponent.
Getting such a card means that my deck has improved and my chances of winning in battles have also increased.
🔹 Why are rewards so important?
Splinterlands’ biggest strength is its reward system. The more you play, the more you will be rewarded—that’s the specialty of this game.
Each reward has a use:
Merits → Helps open Gladius packs.
Potion Charge → Increases the chance of getting Rare or Legendary cards.
Scroll → Provides various in-game benefits.
Card Reward → Increases the power of battles directly.
These are not only important for game progress, but also increase your collection and strengthen your position in the game.

Most importantly—these rewards not only made me stronger, but also inspired me to play more.

🔹 Dream of further improvement in the future
After unlocking Modern Silver II, my next goal is—
Silver I → Gold III → Gold II
I will try achieve them step by step. The higher you level up in game the better rewards and season chests get.
In addition your Battle Rating increases your SPS rewards also increase.
In short, Splinterlands not only gave me a gaming experience, but also taught me the value patience strategy, and consistent effort. Being able level up Modern Silver II after many days hard work and the valuable rewards that came with it truly gave me immense joy.
This achievement wasnt just a tier advancement—it was a memorable milestone my gaming journey.
