Clouds over the Pond
A pond is a body or reservoir of water of small dimensions that can arise naturally, or on the contrary, be developed by humans. In the first case, water accumulates in a depression in the ground without human intervention, while artificial ponds are created by people for practical or ornamental purposes.
It is common for different species of flora and fauna to live in ponds. Generally fish, insects, birds and amphibious animals can coexist in this small ecosystem.
In the vicinity of my home is a beautiful urban park that I go to from time to time, particularly when I have time and weather conditions permit.
One of its main attractions is a pond located at one of its ends, from which you can appreciate extraordinary panoramic views, which I usually photograph whenever I go there, in addition, for some time it has been possible to rent for a small fee, rowing boats to navigate its waters, which usually attracts a large number of visitors, particularly on weekends.
As I have described in previous posts, I usually process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the Picsart and Snapseed applications for cell phones.
Un estanque es un cuerpo o reservorio de agua de pequeñas dimensiones que puede surgir de manera natural, o por el contrario, ser desarrollado por el ser humano. En el primer caso, el agua se acumula en una depresión del terreno sin que medie intervención humana, mientras que los estanques artificiales son creados por las personas con un fin práctico u ornamental.
Es común que en los estanques vivan diferentes especies de la flora y la fauna. Generalmente peces, insectos, aves y animales anfibios pueden convivir en este pequeño ecosistema.
En las proximidades de mi hogar se encuentra un hermoso parque urbano al que suelo acudir de vez en cuando, particularmente cuando dispongo de tiempo y las condiciones meteorológicas lo permiten.
Uno de sus mayores atractivos es un estanque ubicado en uno de sus extremos, desde el cual pueden apreciarse extraordinarias vistas panorámicas, las cuales acostumbro a fotografiar las veces que acudo, además, desde hace algún tiempo es posible alquilar por un módico precio, botes de remo para navegar sus aguas, lo cual suele atraer gran número de visitantes, particularmente los fines de semana.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales acostumbro procesarlas haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para teléfonos móviles.
