I’m thrilled to be participating for another year, so let’s check the Inktober calendar to see today’s prompt… and today’s prompt is Drink! When I first read the prompt list for this Inktober, I thought this one would be the easiest, but truthfully it was quite tricky to choose a concept. I didn’t want to simply draw someone drinking, so I took inspiration from game elements like Energy Vials, waters, and potions to create my own drink inspired by one of the creatures from the Holozing universe. If we’re ready… let’s start drawing!
Hola amigos y comunidad de Holozing, espero estén teniendo un muy lindo día. Hoy continuamos dibujando y llevando a cabo el reto del Zingtober. Me encanta poder estar otro año más participando, así que vamos a seguir el calendario del Inktober para ver cuál es el prompt de hoy... y el prompt de hoy es Drink! Cuando leí la lista de prompt de este Inktober pensé que este sería el prompt más sencillo, pero la verdad se me complicó bastante escoger el concepto. No quería simplemente hacer a alguien bebiendo, así que me inspiré en elementos del juego como los Energy Vial, aguas y pociones para hacer mi propia bebida inspirada en una de las criaturas del universo de Holozing. Si estamos listos... ¡Comencemos a dibujar!
Today’s protagonist is revealed: Cinella. I decided to create a drink full of energy and Cinella’s personality—of course, it would have splashes everywhere. I also incorporated elements from the universe that act as common threads in objects like waters, energies, etc., especially the use of mixed materials for a futuristic effect, such as combining crystal and metal in the same item. It will be a martini glass made of crystal to showcase the liquid, adorned with metallic details inspired by Cinella’s shell and little belly, and two olives will represent her beautiful antennae. I created the entire drawing in Photoshop, using different layer blending modes to achieve light, shadow, and depth, and I ended up using a lovely floral-patterned brush freebie to enhance the design even more. I really liked and enjoyed making this drawing.
Revelado nuestro protagonista de hoy: Cinella. Decidí entonces crear una bebida llena de energía y el carácter de Cinella—por supuesto que tendría manchas por todos lados. También rescaté elementos del universo que son hilos comunes en objetos como aguas, energías, etc., y es el uso de materiales distintos juntos para un efecto futurista, como por ejemplo, el uso de cristal y metal en los mismos elementos. Será una copa de martini, tendrá cristal para dejar ver el líquido, la copa se adorna con elementos del caparazón y la pancita de Cinella hechos en metal, además dos aceitunas representarán sus bellas antenas. Realicé todo mi dibujo en Photoshop, utilicé distintos métodos de fusión de capa para obtener luces, sombras y profundidades, además terminé usando un bello freebie de un pincel con patrón floral para destacar aún más el diseño. Me gustó y disfruté mucho hacer este dibujo.
