The crown of Glimmo.
La corona de Glimmo.
Today I redrew one of my favorite drawings from Zingtober, I was redrawing Glimmo using a crown, today I would like to show you the step by step of my drawing, I hope you like the final result.
Hoy redibujé uno de mis dibujos favoritos del Zingtober, estuve redibujando a Glimmo utilizando una corona, hoy me gustaría mostrarles el paso a paso de mi dibujo, espero que les guste el resultado final.
The first thing I did was the sketch, which I simply made in pencil. I want it to be only up to the bust and for the crown to have the protagonism of the drawing. This sketch I later inked and took a photo that I will import into Ibis Paint. In Ibis Paint I use the option to remove the background to keep only the lines of the drawing.
Lo primero que hice fue el boceto, que lo hice simplemente a lápiz. Quiero que sea solo hasta el busto y que el protagonismo del dibujo lo tenga la corona. Este boceto después lo entinté y tomé una foto que importaré a Ibis Paint. En Ibis Paint utilizo la opción de eliminar fondo para quedarme solamente con las líneas del dibujo.
This is how my drawing for Inktober turned out, but now comes the fun part. I liked it so much that I wanted to go ahead and give it color and turn it into a complete drawing. For that the first thing I will do is clean some details and smudges that slipped into my drawing, and I will also adjust its size and position so that it occupies the entire canvas.
Así quedó mi dibujo para el Inktober, pero ahora viene lo divertido. Me gustó tanto que quise de una vez darle color y convertirlo en un dibujo completo. Para eso lo primero que haré será limpiar algunos detalles que se colaron en mi dibujo y manchas, además ajustaré su tamaño y posición para que ocupe todo el lienzo.
With this result I can now start adding color.
Con este resultado ya puedo empezar a dar color.
I will start by coloring his golden crown.
Empezaré coloreando su corona dorada.
I do not want them to be only flat colors, so I will add volumes and shadows to my drawing so that each part stands out well.
No quiero que sean solamente colores planos, así que le agregaré volúmenes y sombras a mi dibujo para que resalte bien cada parte.
I repeated the same process with each part of my drawing until I had it completely colored, with some more small details and a flat background my drawing is ready. I hope you liked it. Thank you for accompanying me one more day drawing.
