It's a little late here in the Philippines but I attribute it to my sleep recovery and because I basically woke up in the afternoon XD So it is May 1, Labor day and also the start of Mermay so here's to my attempt to actually participate in it for once XD
I didn't have a lot of inspiration for this one this year but I did tell myself to stick to one style just for the whole month to see how it develops as it goes.
And I 'm trying to encorporate my usual activity into allllll of this crazy mermay things XD

I would say it's a little to plain for my liking but the first prompt word on the list I'm following is Amulet
And I think this prompt is pretty good because it's fairly random and it won't make me too fixated on drawing mermaids since it does offer a variety. I also think that it wouldn't be so bad to incorporate the holozing healers into it too.
So for my progress. I didn't really have that much progression shots since I was operating on sleepy brain for today
I ended up not taking more of the sketch part in itself and this was already 30 minutes in when I was already doing the base color and I was thinking hard on how to position her nicely in an amulet like she was cursed with evil energy for being a healer.
Then at some point I did forget to completely take a shot of everything so here I am, being overly reliant on my time-lapse again XD
