Amidst the rustling wind and the soft light filtering through the dense foliage, I spotted a tiny creature relaxing on one of the leaves. It was so tiny, and its coloration was so simple. But that simplicity made me unable to look away. It was like a magnet about its tiny body that made me eager to be near it.
The tiny creature was an Indian Cupid butterfly, or Everes lacturnus in Latin. This butterfly is one of the easiest to find in the wild. It's also a bit more docile. However, they can sometimes be annoying, like the one I encountered. At first, it was very relaxed, just standing still, not moving at all.
But as I was adjusting the focus to get a good shot, it suddenly changed poses. It kept changing poses, looking like a seasoned model. Its movements were so fast that many of my shots were blurry. There were even some images where it wasn't even in them.
It wasn't just its pose that it changed; its location as well. Initially, it was on a green leaf. Then, it moved to flower not far from the leaf it had landed on. Once there, it did the same thing.
