Hello dear friends, good afternoon wherever you are....
Have you ever seen this unique fruit when you were walking in the open air. It is a ground cherry, a favorite fruit of the yellow-vented Bulbul bird and other small birds. This ground cherry plant is very easy for us to find, the plant can grow anywhere, not necessarily in a certain place. But it appears more in places such as gardens, rice field edges, roadsides, small bushes and other open places.
This ground cherry fruit is round and small in shape, wrapped in uniquely patterned petals. What I snapped is only the appearance of the petals, while the actual fruit is inside the petals. If we don't know the facts, then the petals are what we consider to be the fruit. Try to observe carefully, don't the petals look like fruit. In fact, it is only a protector of the actual fruit.
Ground cherry fruit is green when young and yellow when ripe, as are the petals. The texture of the flesh is very soft, not hard and not soft, it can be said to be similar to tomato flesh. For the taste of ground cherry fruit, it tastes very fresh, sweet and slightly sour. That's why birds like this fruit, only ripe fruit is targeted by birds.
