Everes lacturnus butterfly

in Nature Observer4 days ago

Hello dear friends, good afternoon.....

While walking in the open air, I accidentally glanced at a tiny creature standing gracefully on one of the grass leaves. It is an Everes lacturnus butterfly from the lycaenids family. A very simple, tiny, gray butterfly decorated with black dots and two orange spots that have a very unique shape, at first glance it looks like a pair of eyes ready to monitor all corners of the world.

This Everes lacturnus butterfly is one of the easiest butterflies to find, especially in areas with fresh grass. This butterfly spends more time in the grass than in colorful flower gardens. In addition, this butterfly also has an interesting flight pattern, it never flies straight, always winding and flying at a very low altitude. Only as high as the plants around it. Its flight distance is also very short, the furthest is only two meters.

The butterfly have a unique identity

Yes, right.

I have never seen a white colored butterfly before.

Interesting. Actually, this butterfly is very easy to find, especially in grassy areas. It's not that you've never met it. Maybe you missed it because the size of this butterfly is very small.
