Yesterday afternoon when the sunlight was soft and spreading all around a wonderful sight came to mind while walking in the garden A small round bright red insect was sitting on a green leaf At first glance the black dots on its body were noticeable Although the insect was very small its beauty seemed to illuminate the entire nature The name of this small insect is ladybug, which in Bengal we usually call ladybird beetle or lady bug Ladybug is a beneficial and handsome insect Its scientific name is Coccinellidae It is usually red in color and has black spots on its body However not all ladybugs are the same some have fewer spots on their bodies while others have more spots Their shape is round and bright making them easy to notice This insect is a wonderful example of the play of colors in nature.
