I had a fly with a similar camouflage land on my hand yesterday. It looked to me like it was eating something off of my skin. Not sure what.

        Wow that's very interesting. Usually flies land on the hand, it is likely that they suck sweat from our skin. Some flies are indeed very interested in such things, especially house flies. Thank you for sharing your most beautiful experience, my friend. Have a nice day.
