a pair of dragonflies with sparkling green metallic bodies perched on a rock that jutted out into the river. From the shape and color of their transparent brown wings, I recognized them as dragonflies from the (genus Neurobasis) . I approached slowly, making sure not to disturb them.

They seemed busy in a ritual which was probably the mating process. The male gracefully arches his body, while the female remains silently accepting. Their movements were so harmonious, as if dancing in the stillness of the morning. I immediately raised my camera, trying to capture this rare moment.

In a few shots, I managed to capture their beautiful details—wings glistening in the light, little feet clutching leaves, and the reflection of their bodies on the clear surface of the water. Shortly after I finished taking photos, as if realizing my presence, they suddenly let go of each other. The female flew low following the river current, while the male still had time to spin briefly in the air before finally disappearing into the thick of leaves.

I smiled, feeling lucky to be able to witness this natural moment.
