I have been associated with the agriculture department since 2000. The insect Cletus Punctiger you have seen sitting on the rice plant and its grains, which you captured with your camera in close-up, I do not have as much information about it as you are telling me. It can turn the grains black and empty the kernels. So I also do this. But if any such harmful insect is seen on the crop, it is immediately sprayed to kill it, which does not affect the crop production.
