My daughter bought this DIY mirror box online because she wanted to make something special for her friend. At first, she wasn’t sure if she could do it, but she took her time, followed each step, and worked on it with patience and care. I watched her twist the tiny wires, fix the flowers, and carefully place each mirror panel together. It wasn’t easy, but she didn’t give up.

When the lights finally turned on, it looked so magical — like endless glowing flowers inside a tiny box. I could really see the love and effort she poured into it. This simple project reminded me that gifts don’t have to be expensive to be meaningful. Sometimes, the best ones are made by hand, with love, hard work, and a kind heart.

Here's where my daughter bought it link
How I made the LED Tulip Flower (simple steps)
Materials I used

- Small mirror/acrylic cube kit (4 sides + top + bottom)
- A short string of LED flower lights (battery pack)
- Small clear beads or glue bits to hold lights in place
- Hot glue or strong craft glue
- Scissors and tape
- Small pieces of wire or tape to shape flowers
Steps
Step 1 First I tested the LED lights to make sure they all work.
Step 2 I gently wrapped each tiny flower around its LED so the flower sits on the bulb. I used a little tape to keep them in place.

Step 3 I made a small cluster of the flower lights. I twisted the thin wires together so they stayed as one group.

Step 4 On the bottom panel, I glued a few clear beads or glue drops. These act like tiny holders so the wires and flowers stand up and don’t fall over.

Step 5 I placed the flower cluster on the bottom where the beads hold it upright. Then I arranged the wires neatly so they looked tidy.
Step 6 I put the battery pack near the edge of the bottom panel (not under the flowers) so I can turn it on and off later. I taped it lightly so it won’t move.

Step 7 Before closing the box, I turned the lights on to check the view. If some flowers needed small adjustments, I fixed them now.

Step 8 I assembled the cube by putting the mirrored/acrylic sides up one by one around the flowers. I made sure the reflective side faces inward (this is what makes the lights repeat).

Finally, I turned off the lights, closed the top, then turned them on again. The tiny flowers multiplied in the mirror and it looked like a field of lights.
I didn't asked her friends reaction after seeing her gift. I already knew how happy would it be after receiving a beautiful present like these.
