Confeccionando blumas para mi sobrina (Esp/Ing)

Mi sobrina fue a la tienda El Castillo, el centro textil de Cumaná, acompañó a una amiga a comprar una tela para hacer unas cortinas para su hogar, allí vio unos envases grandes con retazos de telas y habían varias personas revisando y a ella le dio curiosidad y caminó hasta ese rincón, encontró un pedazo grande azul, entonces lo compró porque le gustó y lo vio económico y no tenía ni idea de qué hacer con eso.

En días pasados estaba conversando con ella, hablando de mi nueva máquina de coser y me dijo: "Tía tengo una tela que compré en El Castillo hace varios meses, ¿me podrías hacer unas blumas?". Fue al cuarto y me trajo la tela, me la pone en las piernas y le digo ¿cómo es esto?, te falta hilo, elástica y otra tela para combinar.

She went to the room and brought me the fabric, she put it on my legs and I told her how is this, you need thread, elastic and another fabric to combine.

Y me he quedado boquiabierta con lo que me dijo: "Házmela todas del mismo modelo y sin elástica, total yo no voy a enseñar mis blumas a nadie" No pudimos evitar reírnos de aquel chiste. A eso le respondí: "También dime qué te las cosa sin hilo, descarada. No salgas sola a la calle te pude atropellar un carrito de helado". Eso último es una frase muy común en el barrio cuando alguien se la da de pícaro. A continuación les mostraré los materiales que utilicé, que mi bella sobrina me llevó a la casa.

Materiales:

• 30 cms de tela licrada o franela de algodón.

• 7 cms por 12cms de franela de algodón blanco.

• Hilo adecuado para coser tela elástica.

• 180cms de sesgo elástico o elástica para blumas.

• Alfileres

• Máquina

• Agujas # 9 - 10- 11

Materials:

• 12“ by 12” (30 cms) of cotton flannel.

• 7 cm by 12 cm of white cotton flannel.

• Thread suitable for sewing elastic fabric.

• 180cms of elastic bias or elastic for blumas.

• Needles # 9 - 10- 11

Procedimiento:

• Estuve investigando en Youtube, viendo unos videos para ver cómo hacer pantys sin elástico y no es difícil y es una forma de ahorrar dinero.

• Pero yo solicité que compraran sesgo y elástica para blumas para ir a lo seguro (jaja).

• Para sacar los patrones utilicé una panty vieja talla M.

• Para recortar las piezas se coloca la tela de modo que el lado que estire más quede hacia el ancho del panty doblada y coincida con el doblez del patrón en la tela.

• Sacamos una pieza delantera, una trasera y dos refuerzos, uno de la misma tela y otro de la tela de algodón blanca.

Procedure:

• I was researching on YouTube, watching some videos to see how to make tights without elastic and it's not hard and it's a money saver.

• But I requested to buy bias and elastic for blumas to play it safe (haha).

• To make the patterns I used an old size M pantyhose.

• To cut out the pieces you lay the fabric so that the side that stretches the most is towards the width of the panty folded over and matches the fold of the pattern on the fabric.

• We cut out a front piece, a back piece and two gussets, one from the same fabric and one from the white cotton fabric.

• El refuerzo es la pieza que va en el medio del delantero y el trasero.

• Después de recortar todas las piezas, empezaremos a armar nuestra bluma, acomodando en la mesa, unimos delantero con el refuerzo de la misma tela, por centro delantero enfrente los derechos de las telas y el refuerzo blanco enfrente su derecho con el revés del delantero y cosemos con costura recta y zig- zag.

• Después unimos el trasero, enrollamos el delantero y pasa el refuerzo interior por debajo de modo que el derecho de la tela de ambos refuerzos queden de frente a ti, enfrente los derechos de telas del trasero y refuerzo y únelos con centro trasero, enrolla el trasero, pasa el refuerzo interior por encima, incorpora el centro trasero y se cose con costura recta y zig- zag y luego se voltea la prenda quedando las costuras por dentro y cerramos un lado del panty.

• Then we join the backside, roll up the front and pass the inner gusset underneath so that the right side of the fabric of both gussets are facing you, facing the fabric rights of the backside and gusset and join them with back center, roll up the backside, pass the inner gusset over it, incorporate the back center and sew with straight stitching and zig-zag and then turn the garment over leaving the seams on the inside and close one side of the panty.

• Luego se coloca el elástico en las piernas, estirando medio centímetro. Ejemplo: en la máquina colocamos una cinta métrica del uno al diez y medimos sin estirar hasta el número cuatro y luego estiramos hasta el cuatro y medio.

• Después se cierra el otro lado de la panty y por último colocamos el elástico en la cintura.

Así quedó la panty, quedé satisfecha con el resultado, cada día aprendo cosas nuevas. Gracias por su valioso tiempo. Dios los bendiga.
