#needlework
Hello guys my sweetest needleworkers so I finished this particular project so I could share it as a follow up for the last one.
Today I’ll be sharing the ELLA set with you all. The middle man (woman) that connected me for the last beachwear set I made ordered for this immediately after seeing the other one she came to pick.
Apparently they were attending the same beach party and she wanted this one. After the pricing process I got her measurement and got to work.
It was easy to make this since my motivation was that it was her love for how neat the other one was that’s why she trusted me to do this. (For your information it’s my first time making this trouser.
I’ve always wanted to try it out but I couldn’t and I finally got a chance to test it out.
Took me a few days to make it since it was an urgent order and it was actually fun to make since it was a project I haven’t worked on before so learning a new thing was the highlight of this whole project.
Getting her size and everything was good she came in a few days before delivery for a fitting . I wanted to get the perfect measurement for the fit. I told her to come in early for it.
I didn’t have a lot of time to spare so I couldn’t record the making process for the bra top, the shrug and the ruffle hat. I could only get the trousers so this should be okay (bear with me okay).
So when she came for fitting I was only done with one part of the trouser and I had the other part to finish up. She already loved it. She just said to make the high waist longer that the first one she picked may not really go well. I said okay.
She came in days after in the morning to take it. That was the day of the event. She said she’ll get dressed and go to the event from there.
All the time she spent getting dressed she kept saying how she loved it and that she’s happy she ordered early.
She was like “Ah I will send you pictures and videos don’t worry, you will see them “.
I was so happy and I just went on to admire how well the fit sat on her body. I was skeptical about the fittings before she came but after that all my worries went away in a second.
I’m very happy I got this particular client and I’m happy we delivered as promised.
I hope this inspires you to try making a three-piece like this some time.
