How do you prefer to eat plantains, plantain lovers? Do you prefer them boiled, fried, roasted, or raw? Yes, I mentioned raw, because some people prefer to eat them raw, just like bananas.

Definitely fried or turned into chips/crisps. One of my favourite things !
They're weren't that common here in the UK, but gradually getting easier to find 😀

my goodness, I've never even heard of plantain! As for bananas, I eat them i my oats every morning. Otherwise I love them roasted in butter and used as filling for pancakes with ice cream! It would be cool if you could share some recipes for plantain - even though you say you like to eat them raw.

I only learned about this fruit last year from a guy I worked with. I have yet to try them.
He is from Ghana. I am in South Africa. I suppose I can try get them from a store here.
It should be at the African grocery stores. Pick and Pay does not stock it.
