I also read galenkp post. Like you, I have a natural tendency to vote on comments. My vote is of low value, but whenever I do so with the intention of not being “dust,” it is less than 0.02 hive, which for me often represents voting with about 50% of the voting power... or a little more. There are some comments on my posts that are very automated... repeating phrases or ideas that I gave at the beginning of the post, and the lack of commitment or involvement of the person who made the comment is noticeable, as they do not add a personal idea, or a different view of the topic addressed, or even a situation in which they disagree with what I said. What I usually do is that for those users who have a much more developed response, and who add something to my post, who bring value, even if I don't vote for them with more than 0.02 hive (since I only have almost 12k hive at stake), I pay attention to their posts. And how do I do that? I add them to my custom list (if I already follow them) of my favorite users. And when I have time to read one of their posts, I end up voting 100% of the value, which in my case sometimes only comes close to 0.051 hive... I still have very little “weight,” but for me, this is what the community is all about. Being able to connect with real people. I still remember how I “met” you. Through the squat challenge that livinguktaiwan launched!
