I tend not to read bitter posts as it does nothing to help. Most first worlders aren't doing it for the Hive anymore but for community I think. Unless you happen to be someone who gets regular whale and friends in high place votes and stands to earn a little better than the average Joe here.

why would you want to pull all of it out? Why not build your account so you can earn more down the road.

See I've always had a problem with this thinking. Sometimes people have to pull out as they really need the money - who are we to judge? And when bitter sentiment reaches highs, it's no wonder people cash out. I think some people like to grow their account just because they like the power of brings. Hive hasn't been a get rich scheme for years.

I still like it though, otherwise I wouldnt be here running a community and posting. There will come a time I'll just get jack of it though. I'm not sure financial incentive will help at that point.
