RE: Go (The Game), Chess and Shogi, and Planning Ahead

in Reflectionslast month

Go is difficult... I played against my grandfather when I was in elementary school. I didn't know the rules of the game and my grandfather taught me, but I got scared when he became peeled off and started calling me “あんた,” and I haven't touched Go since then. I played Othello with my cousin on the Go board at my grandparents' house.

It is wonderful that your son has a clear mind. As a parent, you must be happy to lose😌

That's too bad your grandfather yelled at you. I try to always avoid getting angry when we play and if they do well, I cheer for them. Yes, exactly, I am happy to lose. I hope his good mind helps him in the future.
