HOW TO STRATEGICALLY POSITION YOURSELF FOR OPPORTUNITIES......

in Reflections9 months ago

I will be talking about myself more in this post not because I'm the most perfect for the description but because I have personally proven what you're about to read.

There's a saying that the society had normalize...

Opportunities comes only but once

That is usually not the case, altho most of us grew up believing that, and one of the very reason why I did was that I know for a fact that wealth doesn't come just by how hard working you're alone, but also you have to be alert enough to opportunities.

One time I told my brother, all the wealthy people he knows doing so well, it's not because they were able to do more than him, it's simply because thy took hold of an opportunity they percieve and that was a door opening.

Last week someone called me says he got my contact From a friend of mine, after introducing himself, he said he would love to learn being a chef, to be able to do something productive layer on, how to cook and bake, that his friend whom he got my contact from told him I'm a chef, of course I am but a major on pastries for now, so he then told me how he had gone to make enquiries in a culinary school, the amount they told him for registration Alone was overwhelming, plus he had to provide 80% of the materials to be used for the practicals.

While he narrates all these to me I just simply smiled and wonder at how things in life works...

Here I am A Pastery chef at ease with myself, plus I've got some good experience as a kitchen Chef too, a web3 content creator, creative writer, script writer and public speaker, I look back at my life and making some of the toughest decision back then and how it has all paid out now, I know definitely for certainty that I've got wealth in my hands.

Way back in 2016 I was working as an assistant supervisor in an eatery, the first place I ever worked, then I was pursuing to gain admission in one of the federal universities, after working the company for four years I then told myself "it would be wrong for me to resign, leave for school without gaining anyskills to help me push through school, so one day I met with the pastry supervisor about my plan to come over as a Pastery boy, he was excited about and gave me a go ahead them met with my manager and my supervisor they all approved but my supervisor didn't, according to her why should I step so low to be coming a Pastery boy, from earning $20 at the time to $14 with hard labour?......tge idea was demeaning to her so she left me.

Since I wasn't there because of the money but to learn and gain experience I bought a notebook wrote down every recipe of every products and how they're all made, I was intentionally working, paying attention to every details, making sure I pen down every step, sometime I work over time even during off days I would come to work, I knew that I have to pay the price now to get the prize later, and the time was short so I had to intensify effort to learn.

This is what I usually do, I see every phase of my life as a unique one, so I strategically placed myself in such a way that would open me up for opportunities, I never want to be caught off guard, I had to make sure I put my self up,

I see a lot of people struggling just to make ends meet, struggling so hard it's obvious they left off on the wrong foot, what they should have done they didn't and what they shouldn't they did, these misplacement of priorities has led to so much complications in their lives today it's like they are caught up in a rat race, running in circles never making any progress at all.

Everyday opportunities are available both online and offline, the question is are you available for the opportunities while. They're available?.... it's a two way synergy being available for opportunities, when they show up, most times by your availability you can create opportunities for yourself that wasn't there, it's Called having insights and foresight to perceive what's going on in your environment and harnessing them to your advantage.
