It should stay on my desk. But I love it so much that I end of taking it with me everywhere. It is always in my bag or shirt pocket. Once you experience how nicely this writes, it's hard to use anything else! (But I do also have a fountain pen in my bag with a much firmer nib for when I need to fill out carbon copies)
