In this post, I'll discuss the craft of hat-making, from preparing the initial materials to completing a truly extraordinary hat.
Last night, I went to my friend's house. It just so happened that the people there were busy making hats from betel leaves. I saw so many materials being prepared. I was very intrigued by this kind of handicraft. Naturally, I immediately went over to take some photos of the main materials being prepared.
These are the materials used to make a traditional Acehnese hat.
After capturing the people making the betel leaf hat, I immediately went to hang out with my friend. We happened to be hanging out not far from her house. After finishing coffee at the cafe, I returned to her house and stayed overnight. I saw the people at my friend's house making a hat, which was only half-finished. I decided to take photos until the hat was finished.

As time went by, I fell asleep there, waiting for the Acehnese traditional hat to be perfectly made. I didn't even realize I was asleep until the morning. When I woke up, I saw people from my friend's house getting ready to go to my future wife's house, carrying the finished and perfectly made Acehnese traditional hat.
