Lake Champlain looks deep enough for a cryptid to exist. I think they call it champ kind of a plesiosaurus somehow still surviving. More likely a sturgeon of sorts.

We drove through Port Henry, New York the other day and they have a sign/tote board with a listing of Champ sitings from 1819 to present. There are over 130 😆
I'll have to see if there is a children's book about him to read to my toddler. I got read the ogopogo book as a kid and thought it was real where he saved a bus on a breaking bridge lol.
Ogopogo is fascinating. I looked it up. I hadn't heard of Ogopogo even though I've been through Kelowna and when we lived on the West coast people vacationed around Lake Okanagan.
